What does this job entail?

The project manager we are looking for is responsible for the launch (customer qualifications and start of manufacturing) of one of the new contracts to manufacture composite parts;

  • Reports in matrix structure to program manager and to manufacturing engineering manager;

  • Key responsibility is on time, on budget and on requirement;

  • Execute risk assessments and mitigate the risks to ensure the project plan;

  • Manage the project team resources;

  • Eliminate roadblocks;

  • Report to stakeholders, both internal as external;

  • Point of contact to customer on project plan;

  • Ensure first time right customer qualifications;

  • Ensure on time and on requirement delivery for FAI shipset delivery;

  • Ensure on time and on requirement delivery for first 3 shipsets after FAI;

  • Create and execute a handover plan towards operations (including operator trainings)

Who are we looking for?

  • Master of Science in Engineering (Electro-Mechanics, Mechanics, Materials, Aviation/Space, …);

  • Experienced project manager (min. 5 years);

  • Experienced in launching new products into manufacturing;

  • Experienced in change management;

  • Experienced in Aviation and Aerospace or Automotive is a plus;

  • Experienced in composites is a big plus;

  • Experienced in MS project is a big plus;

  • Knowledge of APQP (FAI and PPAP) is a must;

  • Customer and result oriented with attention to detail;

  • Strong communication capabilities;

  • Fluent in English is a must, knowledge of Dutch is a plus;
