What does this job entail?
We are looking for an Engineer who will create value in the concept solution by minimizing waste and maximizing flow and capacity within the boundaries of the project.
The responabilities of the job:
- Define takt time, capacity scenarios, OEE targets and get agreement
- Map the value stream process and logistic setup
- Cell design, layout, and ergonomics (including logistics and personal flows)
- Process work sheets (flow, tasks, methodologies)
- Cost calculation – direct/indirect labour
- Line balancing and man/machine ratios
- Method and time studies (including direct and indirect handling of equipment)
- Functional design (flow diagrams) and HMI (requirements)
The job is a part-time job.
Who are we looking for?
- You have a Master’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalent
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) and at least basic Dutch with the willingness to improve
- Ability to communicate well with various stakeholders
- Work experience in the related competence field in a comparable function
- Strong understanding of lean tools, flow thinking, and product costing
- Excellent knowledge of work study and method engineering
- •Good knowledge of ergonomics
- Strong understanding of product costing
- Good in excel, SAP system setup, and master data
- Experience with simulation techniques
- Go see mentatlity; walk the flow and involve everyone and include the reality in solutions
- Can observe the less visible parts and try to think from a system perspective
- Work with an open mind, quickly explore concepts but is conclusive as soon as data is clear
